We just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for their support this year! Here is wishing everyone a very safe and happy 2017! Today is also the last day to make your tax-deductible gift to help the animals in our care.
We have surpassed the number of animals taken in last year and are having to make significant changes to our home so we can house more animals. We have converted our garage into the animal care area so we now need a place to serve as storage. We are looking to have built or to buy a large storage shed for the backyard. To purchase a building will cost almost $7000. We are also looking for a company or person to donate the materials needed to build a shed. The materials and time spent helping build the shed are also tax deductible. So if you know anyone that would be willing to help, please let us know!
We are also completely FULL of aquatic turtles. We will need to purchase at least one, but prefer two more turtle ponds at $300 each. We can also use donated ponds. Large round cattle troughs (not metal) or the black ponds work great.
